CRP Reasearch Program
1. The Call for proposals under the Collaborative Research Programme (CRP) - ICGEB Research Grant is now open. Complete project proposals can be submitted through the online portal at https://isg.icgeb.org/auth/login.
2. The ICGEB Research Grant is part of the Collaborative Research Programme (CRP) of ICGEB and is a dedicated source of funding aimed at financing projects that address scientific problems of particular relevance for the host country. Pakistan is a member of host countries. The aim of this funding is to:
a. Stimulating collaborative research between ICGEB Member States and with the ICGEB Component laboratories.
b. Promoting the training of young scientists.
c. Facilitating the creation of appropriate research facilities.

5. Eligibility: Applicants for research grant proposals should hold positions at Universities or Research Institutes in any of the ICGEB Member States (Pakistan is a member state). A special category of CRP-ICGEB Early Career Return Grants is intended to fund young researchers (no more than 40 years of age) with an outstanding track record, who have spent a minimum of 2 years abroad and have recently returned to an ICGEB Member State to establish their own independent laboratories.
6. Principal Investigators may submit their complete applications online via a dedicated portal by the deadline i.e. 30 April 2024. However, all researchers/faculty members of NUMS and its constituent institutes are advised to please submit 1 x hard copy of the research proposal to NUMS-ORIC by 10 Apr 2024 for internal screening, processing for internal approval, IRB & Committee approval.
